"Hello, Brian Sledge here, the Teacher of Graphic Design at Eastside High School. At the start of the 2nd marking period, my students were given an assignment: to create a minimum 12-page graphic novel on a topic of their choice. While many stories were interesting read, one truly stood out. Michelle, an 11th-grader, crafted a compelling narrative about a young girl struggling with mental health issues and the absence of support in her life. What followed was an unexpected and transformative journey!"

From there, we worked meticulously designing the visuals, page by page, to bring her vision to life.
