2024 was a benchmark year for Eastside High School. First, it launched the new in-house department EG Graphics. Second, came GhostcON, the student art showcase and comic book convention. Then it witnessed the esteemed GhostCON Award. The GhostCON Award symbolizes a sincere dedication to the art of comic book and graphic novel education. Students attending Paterson Public Schools can now gain major recognition for continued excellence in the field!

GhostCON '24 Award Winner
Charles Cambier
Charles Cambier is a dedicated and talented artist. As the very 1st winner of the annual GhostCON Award, he'll not only carry this esteemed title, but earn the right to attend the fully-funded summer intensive program at the legendary Kubert School, which covers program cost, travel, and food!
His comic book art portfolio is testimony to his skill. He has a full comc book design with orginal characters, character profile , and story!
